His leadership reflects a well-rounded and deeply informed perspective on the criminal justice system, shaped by decades of experience on multiple sides of the courtroom.
A native of eastern North Carolina, District Attorney Dixon was raised in Goldsboro, North Carolina, and is a 1985 graduate of Goldsboro High School. He attended Duke University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1989, and later received his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law in 1992.
With more than 25 years of legal experience, District Attorney Dixon has built a career defined by breadth and depth.
