Last year, James E. Williams Jr. curated a symposium commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The event was a resounding success, drawing an overflow crowd at the Chapel Hill Public Library on July 2, 2024. Several panelists were individuals well-known to NCABL.
