Nana Asante-Smith is a devoted wife to Idrissa A. Smith & the proud mother of three children. She enjoys eating, baking, exercising, college sports, & local politics. Nana was born in Accra, Ghana, raised in Madison, Wisconsin, & is a proud resident of Durham, North Carolina. She decided to become a lawyer as an homage to survivors of sexual violence like herself, to immigrants navigating unforgiving systems, & to Black women historically told there was no place for them in rooms where decisions are made. Nana is an associate in Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP’s White Collar & Government Investigation practice. She is proud of her reputation as a reliable, hardworking, and relentless advocate for both clients and causes.
